I’m pleased to share my feature article on Punta Cana for Here & Beyond Magazine, a travel trade publication.

The bulk of this piece explores Punta Cana and Bavaro beyond the beach, from caves and cenotes to fine dining and local nightlife. It also includes a sidebar on exciting regions of the Dominican Republic that you should visit, including Puerto Plata, Samana and Santo Domingo.
I was commissioned this piece while in the thick of my research and travels for Moon Dominican Republic, but miraculously it happened during the one week I had chosen to slow down and catch up on writing.
The photographs are not mine, but the text is — minus the Christopher Columbus reference on page one.
